Devon County is lodged between Cornwall on the west side; Dorset and Somerset on the east. Being there are two
locales that are very popular are North Devon and South Devon. North Devon has the Bristol Channel which leads out
to the Atlantic Ocean. The south Devon has the English Channel. Devon is the third largest county in England and
enjoys a very nice tourist status. Combined Devon has a population of over one million people.
People are discovering that North Devon has a lot to see. It isn’t really that popular but it is growing every
years. A campsite around North and South Devon is aplenty. Where ever you want to go there are many different
campsites, whether it is along either coast or in the heart of Devon. To take a caravan holiday Devon can be
so much fun and one can see the country side with ease and affordability.
One of the caravan holiday Devon sites is the Peppermint Park. It is in the heart of Dawlish Warren, near to one
of the most popular beaches. People can use the facilities of the sister parks of Dawlish Sands and Golden Sands.
There are three swimming pools and two clubhouses. On any given night you can find top class entertainment. Stroll
up to the beaches for some sun and fun or go into the villages and sample Devon’s famous cream teas. They even have
a wonderful place for the kids to learn and play. Or take a trip to Exeter for a canal cruise.
A real nice caravan holiday Devon is the St. Osyth Beach, it is near Clacton-on-Sea and is a little different
than most. It has a huge indoor pool along with the top entertainers at night. It has four different caravans you
can rent, Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum. Many would rather not pay too much so they opt for the Bronze. It is
very clean and has great bargain prices. There is a television in the lounge and the kitchen is complete even with
a microwave. The bronze caravan holiday Devon is usually older caravans but they are still in tip top shape.
Another caravan holiday Devon in at the Osyth Beach is the silver caravan. This one is more modern than the
Bronze and a bit more expensive. Not the Ritz but it does have many parks to visit. The kitchen is almost
full size and comes fully equipped. The gold caravan is still higher in price; these are some of the newest
caravans. These have additional heating in the bedrooms, nicer and more comfortable furniture. It also included DVD
players. These caravans are nicely done inside and out.
The platinum caravan holiday Devon is still in the building stages but will be done by the end of the year. They
will be privately owned and will be offered to only the discerning customers. These will be individual and will
have all the enmities one would want. No matter which one you choose, you will certainly enjoy your holiday.
